Commercial Lending & Relationship Manager

Tompkins Mahopac Bank is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banker responsible for developing and managing commercial loan relationships. This motivated banking professional will focus on the Westchester County market; promoting commercial loan products and sales, cultivating strong relationships within the community, and working closely with branch team members as the regional sales leader.


  • A minimum of seven (7) years of related commercial relationship management experience, including business credit - lines of credit, term loans, etc. and commercial real estate loans up to $25MM+
  • Specialized credit and commercial lending training.
  • Enthusiastic desire to generate new relationships and nurture long-term relationships.
  • The ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and present banking solutions to exceed customers' needs
  • Strong outside business development experience and knowledge of the general area, participating and making a presence within the community
  • Ability to act as a mentor; coaching branch personnel to understand & identify referral opportunities, to assist in meeting sales objectives and business initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communications skills

Credit Analyst

Responsible for providing credit and financial analysis support to the credit administration function as well as our commercial lending team. Individual will receive and analyze data on prospective and active commercial borrowers, order credit reports, spread financial statements and various supportive documentation, make recommendations on granting or denying loans, and provide thorough documentation of all financial analysis work to be submitted and/or presented at Loan Committee meetings for approval. Candidates should have general accounting knowledge, strong credit analysis, communication and presentation skills. This position requires BS/BA degree in a related field, specialized financial analysis training and a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a commercial credit analyst/underwriter in a bank or similar financial institution.

IT Support Services Specialist 
Tompkins has an excellent opportunity for professionals to join our dynamic and growth oriented Company.  We are currently seeking a professional individual to be responsible for performing a variety of duties to include; provide first response technical support, and assistance to the end users of corporate systems; identify, and resolve technical problems.  Respond to telephone calls and emails for technical support.  Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure a timely resolution.  Install, and maintain application software.  Act as a liaison between Operational departments and Senior Information Systems Support team members.  As part of the Information Systems Department, this position has responsibilities for a variety of systems supported throughout the entire enterprise.


  • Associates Degree or equivalent related specialized training/ or experience.
  • Three (3) years' experience in a related role (IT/ customer service/ end user support).
  • Experience using or supporting information system applications or microcomputer systems preferred.

Residential Mortgage Loan Originator

A successful Residential Mortgage Loan Originator with Tompkins Mahopac Bank will be a sales oriented professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career assisting present and prospective clients. 

Qualified candidate will: 

  • Originate quality residential and consumer mortgage loans;  
  • Develop business relationships within the community, including realtors, builders, developers and attorneys to grow our mortgage business;  
  • Meet with potential and existing mortgage borrowers, providing service and guidance by evaluating mortgage lending parameters, seeking various ways to assist them in achieving their goals, and accurately completing any documents required for loan application.

We are looking for an experienced candidate with a proven track record of success in residential mortgage sales for the Westchester market. Minimum of 5 years experience required.
